Treatment is in two phases:

The initial intensive phase:

• Depending on the  severity   could   be between 1-3 months Treatment is given daily.

 Maintenance phase:

• Given on a once a month basis

We provide Complete Lymphatic Decongestive Therapy proven to be the only effective treatment for this condition. Through manual lymphatic drainage, compression wrapping, exercise skin care and education, the patient and or family members are instructed in the care and maintenance of the limb.

When the initial intensive phase of treatment has been completed, the therapist then visits the patient monthly. This one-hour treatment includes measuring of the limb, checking garments and bandages for proper compression along with a hands-on treatment of manual lymphatic drainage. These "maintenance" visits prove to be very successful in preventing the re-swelling of the extremity. 

All therapists are certified in the Vodder Method of lymphatic drainage as well as certified in  measuring and fitting the patient for compression garments.
